Everytime Freaks Touch

Just in time to grab a special brew for the Thanksgiving table, it’s the return of Freak Folk, this time with a new entry in the Finders Keepers series.

This Flemish inspired dark ale is fermented in wine barrels, matured on cascara, and bottle conditioned with VT maple syrup.

Garten Party

We’ve got two bangin’ releases from Wunderkammer to add to your Thanksgiving stash!

Fig. 3 is a continuation of four ingredients beers in the Figure series, but with the bonus of a yarrow ‘ghost image’, having been fermented on the yeast of a yarrow beer.
500mL – $9.99
1.5L – $45.99

Garten is a new series of field beers, made with cultivated herbs and vegetables. The first takes a couple barrels of an oat-y base beer and steeps them with roasted rhubarb.
500mL – $12.99
1.5L – $53.99

Prices do not include VT tax or deposit.

Hops 4 Hunger 2021

Feed our neighbors by drinking beer? DONE!  We are pumped to hold our 7th Annual Hops 4 Hunger starting today, November 18th, and lasts until all bags are gone!

This year it is streamlined to 2 Bags with 4 amazing local brews.

Each bag is sold at a premium and 100% of our profits go to our local food shelves.

This year’s bags:

The Bevie Bag ($22)

  • Special Edition H4H 16oz Can Fiddlehead Mastermind
  • Zero Gravity GiggleTwig
  • Lawson’s Finest Liquids Double Sunshine
  • The Alchemist Luscious

Hill Farmstead Brewery Bag ($24)

  • Susan
  • Mary
  • Citra
  • (1 repeat beer)

In addition, we have an extremely limited amount of Beer Cave release single bottles to benefit the cause as well! Get in quick for a chance to purchase a bottle of Cantillon or one-off cellar release Drie Fonteinen (limit one[1] bottle per person).

The lunch bags may also contain a hidden goodie(no peeking), with Bevie gift cards, random swag, vouchers for a Bevie t-shirt, or maybe even a voucher for a jar of delicious Tipsy Pickles.

Some traditions are better than others!!

So much gratitude to our local friends who make the goodness for our lunch bags!

Additional thanks to:
Last Stop Sports Bar, Farrell Distributing, and perhaps most importantly, Chittenden & Winooski Food Shelf, Orleans Federated Church Food Shelf, and Sheffield Food Pantry who are working harder than ever to make sure we have food on the tables of Vermonters.

No reservations, hope to see you soon!

Whistlepig Bevie Blend

86 Proof – 12 Year Rye Blend
$117.99
60% Madeira Casks, 20% Sauternes Barrels, 20% Port Pipes
Only 156 Bottles Made

This is the Swiss army knife of whiskeys.
It has all the proper tools that any whiskey enthusiast would crave.
Nose of an unlit Swisher Sweets cigar that has been kept in a pirate’s chest; another inhale and it is fallen orchard apples, the kind that have been sitting on the ground for just long enough to release that sweet Vermont fruit smell into the chilly air.
You sip…. It’s elegant, with a voluptuous memory that doesn’t say goodnight too early.

Michelin star crème brulée on the palate with mulling spices and white pepper dashed in to keep the notes floating.
Man… this is one fine layered bottle.
This is the kind of bottle you can pull out at a campfire or present to your in-laws to win them over.
It is pure silk, and we are smitten.

On July 28th, my Dad (Walt), George, & Shon spent the day at beautiful WhistlePig in Shoreham, Vermont.

For hours they blended samples of 12-year-old Rye that had been snugly resting in 3 different casks: Sauternes, Madeira, & Port.

At the end, they went “EUREKA!” as they decided on the perfect layering of these gorgeous flavors.

We are proud to be offering our exquisitely woven blend for $117.99.

Our previous 10 year offering of “Walt” was our fastest selling Whistlepig offering of all time.
With the three same Bevie palates on this 12-year bottling, we know we nailed it with their selection of 20% Sauternes, 60% Madeira, & 20% Port.

“What’s with the GSW?”

That’s for George, Shon, & Walt, our beloved trio that mixed this year’s offering.
Also on the label is “Triúr Cairde”. This translates in Celtic to “Three Friends”, which these Gentlemen truly are, and nods to the 3 barrels that so harmoniously now hang out together in our bottling.

We hope you connect some memories to this bottle.

Cheers,

Jen and the Bevie Staff
