14th Star Saison du Miles Winners

Originally, we were supposed to only have a single case of his fantastic Saison du Miles but Steve released more of this incredible, award winning beer for us to share.  During the Make the Cut homebrew contest people’s vote, bar patrons could find our bevy kraken and snag a free raffle ticket  from him for the chance to purchase a Saion du Miles. The 14th Star Saison du Miles has wowed those lucky enough to taste it and won a coveted bronze medal.  The top tier of judges during the Make the Cut homebrew competition  each got a chance to taste the Saison du Miles and were enormously impressed.

Deliveries occur on Friday, they’re USUALLY here in the 10a-2p range and the limit is generally 2-4 4pks per of age customer – enjoy!

Matt Cohen has worked in the brewing industry for 14 years and is known industry wide as “Matty O.” He got his start in a small Vermont brew pub and eventually went on to become the head brewer of Vermont’s largest craft brewery. He’s now the head brewer and owner of the Fiddlehead Brewing Company.

Matt’s philosophy is to brew well-balanced beers. He’s been known to use interesting and exotic ingredients in an attempt to craft the perfect pint.

When he’s not brewing, creating recipes, or enjoying a beer you can find him playing disc golf, skiing, hanging out with his Golden Retriever or spending time with his family.

Maine Beer Co.:  Our Hop Program is our way of always trying to move forward, especially with new hops and new hop combinations. Beer II in our Hop Program is a Session IPA featuring Amarillo, Citra, Simcoe, and Hallertau Blanc hops. It shares the same malt bill as Pilot 6 from our brewery only Pilot series, but uses these different hops.  4.70% ABV
