Hey in case you missed it, Zero Gravity (Burlington, VT) has a wonderful addition to their local craft beer offerings – Keller Beer.

If your mouth likes to play in the Kolsch and hopped lager arena like mine, you absolutely must test drive Keller or make permanent room in your fridge for this exceptional local brew.

Refreshing and crispy, this old world style lager locally updated has a welcoming freshness and thirst quenching ability that is enjoyable by itself or with a variety of food.

My top meal paring for Keller is roasted red potatos with fresh herbs and broiled swordfish with lemon and butter.  The use of herbs will accentuate the well balanced hops, the potatoes will be cut by the wet crispness and refreshing body, the lemon swordfish texturally works very well and is not too unctuous of a protein for Keller.

Green curry, fish tacos, pasta with lemon basil pesto and of course bratwurst and sauerkraut are all fantastic parings.

If you see me hanging out at American Flatbread with a Keller beer, chances are you’d see either a ‘Cheese & Herb’ or ‘Punctuated Equilibrium’ pizza in front me.

Our take on a rarely-seen classic. Start with one of our favorite lagers and add a boat-load of Mandarina Bavaria hops. A fine balance is struck between hoppy and refreshing.
