January Beer News

For the weeks of February 11 and 18, all 22 oz bottle releases will be sold at The Warren Store, Hunger Mountain Co-op, and the Beverage Warehouse.

The week of 2/11 you will find Mosaic IPA (bottles and draft) – Brewed with copious additions of Mosaic, this single-hop American IPA features juicy tropical flavors of mango and grapefruit combined with herbal and earthy pine character.

The week of 2/18 you will find Jade IPA (bottles and draft) – Brewed with Pacific Jade hops from New Zealand and named after our youngest daughter, Jade. We hope you enjoy the unique aromatics and flavor profile of this new hop variety.

In Vermont and Connecticut the week of 2/2 you will be able to get your hands on a fresh batch of Super Session #2 (cans and draft). Sip of Sunshine IPA will be freshly released the weeks of 2/9 and 2/23. We allocate these fresh batches of Sip and SS#2 sufficiently throughout the month so that there is rarely a dry week in between!

Our merchandise supply is now re-stocked with various sizes of the Lawson’s Finest sweatshirt. You will be hard pressed to find a softer and more comfortable hoodie! Put your feet up with your favorite Lawson’s Finest Liquids and wrap yourself in our hoodie that you won’t want to take off! Also, our ever popular t-shirts are on back order and we expect to be fully stocked in all sizes and colors before March!

The coffee notes in Stone Americano Stout are bold, rich and full of American swagger. For each 120-barrel batch, we incorporated over 250 lbs. of artisanal espresso-roast beans into the mash and added in Columbus, Chinook, Amarillo and Cascade hops to invigorate the coffee taste with a slight citrus and resin hop presence. When it came time to selecting our coffee, we chose the same local roasters who contributed to our sought-after 2013 Stone ESPRESSO Imperial Russian Stout. Their fantastic beans helped us achieve this dark, hoppy and wonderfully aromatic espresso stout.

Dark, smooth and delicious. Aromas of worn leather and cool autumn nights. Notes of sweet plum and toasted raisin, hints of coffee and cacao. Lingering tart and refreshing finish.

Fuego del Otoño
Style: Fall Saison

To catch a bit of soft radiance in each bottle, we wait for fall colors to begin their bright and fleeting glow before brewing this wonderful ale under their autumn fire. Gentle amber malt blends smooth caramel notes, gently lapping against a distant shore of forgotten spice. A beer to sip, contemplate and enjoy.

Calabaza Blanca
Style: Artisan Wild Ale

Aged in large oak casks and refermented in the bottle, Calabaza Blanca is brewed in the Belgian Biere Blanche tradition. Spiced with orange peel and coriander, you’ll find it refreshingly tart, with a wonderfully dry finish.

A Sour Brown Ale inspired by the enigmatic monastic brews of Belgium, and the mysterious mist shrouded jungles of the tropics. Brewed with real cacao, and spiced with cinnamon and sweet orange peel for a sensual delight. A brew to be sipped, savored, and enjoyed!
