Simple Life Pinot Noir

Château Beauséjour “Pentimento”
- POURED AT: Misery Loves Company
- REGION: Montagne-Saint-Emilion, France
- TASTING NOTES:
Michele D’Aprix and Pierre Bernault make a selection from the Château Beauséjour vineyard each year for this wine, which illustrates on its front label the soil’s profile in its molecular formula: Montmorillonite Clay and Limestone. The winery uses organic practices, manual harvest, and fermentation via natural yeast. Pentimento is unfined and unfiltered. A blend of 75% Merlot and 25% Cabernet Franc, this wine is full-bodied and leans to the dry side. With pleasing, firm notes of black cherry and currant both on the nose and in the mouth, and just enough spice, this wine is a statement that stands on its own! - PRICE: $24.99
